Spinach and Cheese Gözleme
Delicious traditional flatbread cooked on a griddle or pan with hand-rolled thin dough.
Ingredients
- For dough: 3 cups flour, 1 cup warm water, 1 tsp salt
- 300g fresh spinach (cleaned and chopped)
- 150g feta or curd cheese
- Black pepper, red pepper flakes
- Butter for brushing
Instructions

Knead a non-sticky dough with the flour, water, and salt. Divide into balls and roll out very thin circular sheets.

Mix the chopped raw spinach, crumbled cheese, and spices. Spread the filling on half of the rolled dough.

Fold the empty half over the filling and press the edges firmly with your fingers to seal.

Cook on a hot, dry non-stick pan or griddle on both sides. Brush with butter while hot right after removing from the heat.
